ACE credits are transferrable into most Colleges and Universities toward an advanced degree.

ACE College Credits

The National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (NJATC) located in Maryland has made arrangements with the American Council on Education to grant college credit for completing and IBEW/NECA electrical apprenticeship program.  Those who have completed their apprenticeship since January 1, 1987 can apply for and be granted 47 semester hours of college credit for completing the inside wireman apprenticeship program. 
Those who have completed the residential program will receive ? college credit for completing the program.
Those who have completed the installer/technician program will receive? college credit for completing the program.

Process by which you apply for the credits

Step 1  Call our office to receive the necessary forms.  The JATC will need to verify the program you completed and sign the forms before sending them to you.

Step 2  You will submit the College Credit Application and a $45.00 processing fee to the NJATC

Step 3  You will be instructed on the paperwork to establish an account on the ACE website.  Once you are approved they will send you one free official transcript and allow you to order more if necessary.
