Text Box: International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW)
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers is the largest electrical union in the world. The IBEW represents workers rights in all areas of the electrical industry.
The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA)
The National Electrical Contractors Association is the management association for electrical contractors. NECA represents thousands of employers who guarantee their installation and perform quality work. To provide the highly skilled workforce necessary to meet customer needs and insure job satisfaction for electrical workers, the IBEW and NECA sponsor the very best apprenticeship programs.
NATIONAL JOINT APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING COMMITTEE (NJATC)
In 1941, the IBEW and NECA jointly formed the NJATC, which today is work renowned as the finest electrical training program of its kind.
LABOR MANAGEMENT CORPORATION COMMITTEE (LMCC)
In 1989, NECA and IBEW Locals 117, 150, and 461 formed a labor-management partnership to work closely together to provide electrical construction work that is unparalleled in quality, value, and service.
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY & HEALTH ADMINISTRATION(OSHA)
OSHA's mission is to assure the safety and health of America’s workers by setting and enforcing standards; providing training, outreach, and education: establishing partnerships; and encouraging continual improvement in workplace safety and health. All apprentices in our programs will complete a 10-hour OSHA training course as part of their curriculum.
NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION AGENCY(NFPA)
The NFPA was established in 1896 as a worldwide leader providing fire, electrical, and life safety to the public.
